With two wholly owned and operated manufacturing facilities in Toronto and China, we are a fully integrated manufacturer, marketer and supplier of a complete line of wound and burn car, first aid and private label products. We have a R&D Chemist opportunity located in our Scarborough Operations and Manufacturing facility for candidate with a Masters Degree in Chemistry and 3+ years formulation development experience. Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of R&D and New Product Development, this position will be responsible for formulation development, stability testing, validation, scale-up and manufacturing process improvement and all related tests. You will also be responsible for technical documentation (e.g. for SR&ED tax refund), literature reviews and patent researches. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who can apply their experience and knowledge to generate new ideas for R&D and new product development as well as participate in cross functional teams and liaise with contractors, suppliers, QA/QC and external testing labs.

Position Requirements:
• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field
• 3+ years experience in formulation development in a manufacturing environment, experience in personal care/pharmaceutical formulations
• Experience must include transferring R&D Formulas to commercial sized batches
• Good understanding of GMP regulatory environment
• Good time management skills, well organized, multi-tasker
